Reliable Twitter source WrestleVotes reported yesterday that WWE higher-ups were previously against the idea of having cardboard cutouts mixed in with real fans at WrestleMania 37 this year at Raymond James Stadium.
However, the report notes that WWE could reconsider the decision after last night’s Super Bowl at the Tampa Bay venue, and it seems like this has happened.
WrestleVotes is now reporting that a source within WWE has told them off the back of the Super Bowl that the company is reconsidering whether or not to have cardboard cutouts in the stands for the show this coming April:
Good news! Text from a source just now saying WWE will 100% discuss having the cutouts again. Says “it’s beyond dumb to not, RJS looked wonderful for what it was”
This is obviously very good news, people on social media said that it was hard to see how the crowd was limited at Raymond James Stadium for the Super Bowl last night because of how impressive the cardboard cutouts looked.
For those that have missed the news, reports seem to suggest that WWE is hoping for around 25,000-30,000 fans to be in attendance for both nights of WrestleMania 37 in April at Raymond James Stadium.
