The AEW Continental Classic finals will be determined on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, with the Gold league final kicking off the show.
The semi-finals of the AEW Continental Classic kicked off tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (December 27) which saw a big triple threat match.
Pitting Jay White against Swerve Strickland against Jon Moxley to determine who would advance to the tournament final.
In the final third of the match, there was a furious exchange between Swerve and Moxley with a near fall.
However in the end, it would be Jay White attempting to capitalize on a downed Mox who would be subject to a big reversal.
With Jon Moxley picking up the pinfall victory over Jay White, he won the Gold league final to advance to the AEW Continental Classic final at AEW Worlds End this coming Saturday on pay-per-view.
Later in the show, the Blue league final would determine who would move on to face Jon Moxley at AEW Worlds End to become the inaugural AEW Triple Crown winner.
