An AEW star has been announced as returning to action after being away from in-ring competition for nine months and now they’ve reacted.
Weighing in on being excited to get back in action in AEW, Red Velvet wasted no time reacting to the announcement that she will be making her in-ring return on this week’s upcoming November 8 edition of AEW Dynamite.
Red Velvet wrote on Twitter:
“YALL have been asking. It’s time to COOK 🥣”
Red Velvet was announced to be taking on someone else who has been out of action in AEW for over a month but due to an entirely different reason.
Julia Hart has been out of action since her losing effort against TBS Champion Kris Statlander at AEW WrestleDream on pay-per-view, during which time she married fellow AEW star Lee Johnson in a ‘Friday the 13th’ ceremony.
Red Velvet on the other hand was out of action due to injury, with her last match in AEW back on February 1, 2023 where she lost a TBS Championship match against Jade Cargill.
Elsewhere on tonight’s Collision, another match with AEW Full Gear implications was announced for this week on Dynamite (November 8) – you can click here to read more about that.
