Le Sex Gods may have united once more on AEW Dynamite, but that doesn’t signal the end to the tension between Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

On the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & “Dunkzilla” Mark Davis) took on Le Sex Gods, with Jericho scoring the win for his team with a Judas Effect.

There was a degree of miscommunication between Jericho and Guevara during the match, which led to security having to pull the pair apart after their win.

This would lead to issues that will be seen on the September 8, 2023, episode of AEW Rampage.

Coming to AEW Grand Slam III on September 20, Chris Jericho will face Sammy Guevara at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

Per the spoilers for the upcoming episode of Rampage from F4W the Wrestling Observer, a recap aired that showed the issues between both members of Le Sex Gods.

Guevara came out to confront Jericho who was on commentary for Ramapage.

Jericho would suggest that the pair face each other to get their issues out of their respective systems and then go on to focus on the AEW Tag Team titles.

The pair would agree to the suggestion with the match being set for Grand Slam.
