The first match for AEW House Rules live events has been announced for the debut event on March 18 in Troy, Ohio.
The brainchild of Tony Khan, AEW House Rules has been brought to life by the recruitment of Jeff Jarrett as Director of Business Development.
With the first of the AEW House Rules series taking place on March 18, the first match has now been revealed for the show.
As reported by WrestlingNews.co on Twitter, the announced match will see Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli taking on Lee Moriarty & Big Bill.
There had been a positive backstage reaction to the news that AEW was finally joining the regular house show circuit, with unnamed sources discussing the benefits to younger and inexperienced talent on the AEW roster.
It was recently reported that AEW may be getting more TV time for in-ring action, with Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast saying that an extra hour of weekly wrestling television would be happening soon.
