Konosuke Takeshita is heading to All Japan Pro Wrestling for the January 27, 2024, event in Hachioji, Japan.
The announcement was made through the DDT Pro Twitter account, stating:
“Konosuke Takeshita will be participating in the Jan 27 AJPW Hachioji show!
“He will team with Hideki Okatani to face the team of Yuma Aoyagi and Atsuki Aoyagi!”
January 27 2024 will mark Takeshita’s first time in an AJPW since December 2016.
Long associated with DDT Pro-Wrestling, Takeshita would go on to make his AEW debut at The House Always Wins in April 2021.
In DDT Pro-Wrestling, he is a former five-time KO-D Openweight Champion, four-time KO-D Tag Team Champion and five-time KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champion.
He has also held the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship on four occasions.
In AEW, he has aligned himself with Don Callis, joining the family at Double or Nothing in May 2023.
