AEW Star Missed Locker Room Drama While Away From Pro Wrestling AEW

AEW star CJ Perry has said that she missed the backstage drama of the women’s locker room being away from professional wrestling.

CJ Perry may be fairly new to the AEW locker room but she has explained that her excitement to join the promotion hasn’t waned.

Speaking on the In The Kliq podcast, Perry described being back in the professional wrestling mix after having taken a break and looking forward to the social aspect of the job.

Perry said:

“I’m so excited. I wish I could explain my enthusiasm, but I do a lot of cartwheels out of excitement.

“It was a good break to take two years off, but I immediately when I walked into the arena, my heart was racing. I was like, ‘this is home, I’m so excited, I have missed it.’

“I missed the women’s locker room, you know, there’s so much drama, like not necessarily in AEW but just in general in pro wrestling.

“We love it and hate it, and it was kind of like, I missed it. I missed the drama.

“I can only take so much of the Kardashians, I need my wrestling drama, locker room drama. It’s really exciting to be back, excited to be in women’s locker room again.

“Miro can only provide so many words to me in life.”

CJ Perry has recently been recruiting for a star to manage and seems to have found the right fit with Andrade el Idolo, for now anyway.

Miro, Perry’s husband, has expressed his storyline disapproval of CJ’s quest for the spotlight and continues to watch the developments in her career closely.
