An absent star made his return on October 25 in a match that will form part of the Friday, October 27 episode of AEW Rampage.
AEW Rampage was taped at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after Dynamite on Wednesday.
Mark Briscoe made his return during a promo segment on the upcoming episode of Rampage.
As previously reported, Briscoe has been out of action since June due to a serious knee injury that required surgery.
At the time of the report, it was expected that Briscoe would miss most of 2023 due to the injury.
His return would see him do a run in to clear the ring during a Kip Sabian promo.

Konosuke Takeshita defeated Kyle Fletcher – Takeshita pinned Fletcher after hitting a knee strike.
A promo from Kip Sabian in front of the crowd – Mark Briscoe ran in to clear the ring.
Briscoe had been out of action since June after suffering a knee injury.
Skye Blue vs. Willow Nightingale vs. Anna Jay vs. Abadon, winner gets a Women’s World Championship match against Hikaru Shida on Saturday’s Collision
Abadon pinned Anna Jay to win the match.
Toni Storm sat on the stage and watched the match, accompanied by Luther.
Storm vs. the Women’s World Champion has been announced for the November 18 Full Gear pay-per-view.
Mike Santana vs. Ortiz —A no disqualifications stipulation was added to the match.
Santana defeated Ortiz by pinfall after hitting a powerbomb.
Sonjay Dutt entered and tried to recruit Ortiz after the match.
During last night’s Dynamite, AEW Worlds End was announced as a new pay-per-view that will take place on December 30.
It was also revealed that Sting’s gift from Tony Khan was WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
