Top AEW Star Responds To Being Called ‘Cancer Of Wrestling’ AEw

AEW’s Nick Jackson has responded to claims that he and his brother are the ‘cancer of wrestling’ following a recent appreciation post.

In a post on Instagram, Nick Jackson posted a photo of the Young Bucks along with a message that read “brotherly love.”

Matt Jackson would reply to the post, which currently has more than 2,900, likes with the following:

“We changed the business. And we’ll be discredited until the day we’re both buried in the ground. But the ones who know, know.

“Forever grateful that I’ve not been on this journey alone, so that I know it wasn’t all just a dream. Love ya brother.”

Both Matt and Nick Jackson, along with Cody Rhodes, were behind the 2018 event All In that would lead to the creation of AEW, with those three and Kenny Omega serving as executive vice presidents.

While many of the replies to Nick Jackson’s post would be positive, one chose to call the pair the ‘cancer of wrestling’, as can be seen in the screenshot below.

This reply would catch Nick’s attention, with the AEW star replying:

“haha helping get hundreds of wrestlers and production crew jobs and creating an alternative to wrestling is a weird way to think we’re a cancer to wrestling but please keep thinking that silly.”

The Young Bucks will be in action in a four-way tag match against the Gunns, Orange Cassidy & HOOK, and the Lucha Bros at WrestleDream.
