AEW Star Says They Are Not Coming Back Soon AEW

Former TBS Champion Jade Cargill has bluntly answered a fans query on Twitter regarding the timeline for her AEW return.

After reigning undefeated as TBS Champion for 508 days, Cargill finally lost her title and 60-0 streak to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing on May 28.

With Cargill off AEW TV for little over a month, a fan took to Twitter to express that they miss Cargill.

Replying to the fan asking if she’s was coming back soon, Cargill simply responded:

No.

Fightful Select (subscription required) reported shortly after Double or Nothing that Cargill was set for some time off, however it was not clear how long this hiatus was set to be.

Given Cargill’s very blunt response one would assume a return is not in her immediate plans.

Since dethroning Cargill, Statlander has defended her championship against stars such as Taya Valkyrie, Lady Frost and Anna Jay AS.

With AEW preparing for a very busy August/September with All In (August 27) and All Out (September 3) respectively it’s unclear whether Cargill will yet be back in time for either as of right now.

While there have been no matches announced for either event as of yet, a WWE Hall of Famer has recently called for a legendary figure to have a retirement match at Wembley Stadium’s All In on August 27, click here to find out more.
