Outpouring Of Support For Departing AEW Star AEW

QT Marshall announced that he had officially departed AEW on November 28, 2023, having been there since the first day.

Marshall was not only a wrestler on the AEW roster but would also serve as associate producer and a Vice President.

In his post confirming his resignation, he stated he will fulfil all his obligations to the company by the end of 2023.

Following his post on November 28, a number of AEW stars shared their support for QT Marshall.

AEW commentator Taz would post:

“Insane work ethic, pure passion, awesome talent and a legitimate desire to succeed. That’s what you are brother… I’m gonna miss you! You will be a winner no matter what you do. 👊”

Lee Moriarty would also share his love of Marshall, writing:

“Appreciate you, QT. 🙏🏽”

Cole Karter sent his thanks to Marshall, posting:

“Thank you for everything, QT!”

Former AEW star Fuego Del Sol would reflect on the role Marshall played backstage, saying:

“This man won’t boast about all the people he helped behind the scenes but as much as we’ve disliked each other, you’d have to be ignorant not to give him his flowers.

“Not only for his backstage work, but in ring work is world class, those that pay real attention know that.”

Shawn Spears would echo Fuego’s sentiments, sharing his own experience:

“A man who unselfishly fought for many, including myself, behind closed doors and whom is always the utmost professional when the bell rings.

“I’m proud to call this man a friend. The good ones always land on their feet, and I’m excited for his next chapter.”

Wardlow would be equally appreciative of the role Marshall played in his AEW career, noting:

“Thank you @QTMarshall. He’s a big reason I was ever hired to AEW.

“He did things for me that most wouldn’t and treated me like a friend when I was a complete stranger.

“Also, legit one of the best wrestlers I’ve ever seen. Most importantly, always kept it real with me. Rare human”

It has recently been revealed that QT Marshall had shared frustrations about his role in AEW, including wanting to be recognised as a wrestling star.
