Find out which other new AEW team just won a future title shot after having been ‘randomly’ paired during the ‘Blind’ Eliminator tournament!
It wasn’t just Adam Cole and MJF who found tag team symmetry with their ‘blind’ eliminator random partner pairing.
On tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage, there was a tag team battle royal to determine which team would get the next shot at the AEW Tag Team Championship.
On AEW Collision tomorrow (Saturday, July 29) MJF and Adam Cole will take on FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) for the AEW Tag Team Championship.
Whoever wins that title match would then defend against the battle royal winners.
In the battle royal were the Butcher and the Blade, Luther and Serpentico, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker, Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Ethan Page and Brother Zay, and Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh.
In the end, it was actually two complete tag teams left as the final four were the Butcher and the Blade, and Brian Cage and Big Bill.
The continuing tag team of Big Bill and Brian Cage won the Tag Team Battle Royal on tonight’s airing of AEW Rampage to cement not only their partnership, but a future title shot!
