Former AEW Star Addresses WWE 2K26 Debut

A former AEW star has addressed their debut in the upcoming WWE 2K26 video game, noting how far things have come.

With the latest entry in the video game series set for release next month, details have emerged as to what fans can expect from WWE 2K26, including multiple NXT stars being added to the game.

One such star is Ricky Saints, formerly Ricky Starks from AEW, who shared a first-look at his WWE 2K26 entrance on Twitter, along with a message that reads:

“The wait is over but it’s absolutely worth it🕺”

The post would be accompanied by a video showing Saints making his entrance in WWE NXT, complete with cone of lights.

He would also reflect upon using create-a-wrestler resources, which allowed players to add their preferred stars to past games, tweeting:

“We’ve come a long way from me looking up formulas on the Gamefaqs and Caws.ws website to this”

This isn’t the former FTW Champion’s first appearance in video games, however, having previously appeared in AEW Fight Forever and the digital CCG WWE SuperCard.

WWE 2K26 is set for a March 13 release (with early access from March 6) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch 2 and Windows PC.
