A popular star has found himself apologising after AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and this time it revolves around bread.
Having previously apologised for elbow-dropping CM Punk in the sensitive regions during their match on June 25, 2023, Kojima was delighted to receive a gift of bread from AEW.
He shared a photo of the gift on social media, along with the message:
“After last night’s fight, the AEW staff gifted me an assortment of breads.
“Although I was sweating, I ate the bread.
“Thank you for letting me know about bread clubs.”
Kojima isn’t only one who didn’t know about bread clubs!
His joy at the gift of bread was shortlived however, thanks to CM Punk’s gift of a GTS to the face.
Kojima would later follow up his tweet with another one stating:
“I was very happy to receive the bread as a gift.
“However, when I received the GTS, my jaw hurt and I could barely eat.
“😢🍞💔”
Hopefully, Kojima will be able to enjoy the bread and we will see him in the AEW ring at a future date.
