Top AEW Star Says Current Injury Is Most Challenging Of His Career Emotionally AEW

A top AEW star says their current injury is the most challenging of his career emotionally.

At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2023, MJF defeated Samoa Joe to retain the AEW World Championship.

During the course of the bout, Adam Cole ran down to the ring and suffered an ankle injury when he jumped off the ramp to the ringside area and landed awkwardly.

The former NXT Champion would later revealed that he broke his ankle and needed to get surgery as a result.

On October 24, Cole took to social media to admit that this has been the most challenging injury of his career emotionally. He wrote:

Emotionally, this has been the most challenging injury of my career. Without question. Thank you to EVERYONE who has reached out & shown support. Means more than you know.

I will do everything in my power to get back to work doing what I love to do.

Because I’m #AdamColeBayBay

It is still unknown when Adam Cole will return to in-ring action.

An AEW star has warned Cole to pull the trigger on his best friend MJF before he pulls it on him, which you can read at this link.
