AEW Star Addresses Injury Concerns After Dynamite AEW

AEW star Wardlow has addressed concern for potential injury during tonight’s edition of Dynamite during a singles match.

On tonight’s January 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow appeared to potentially be injured as he began to noticeably limp after a move that saw his knee appear to buckle.

The Undisputed Kingdom including Adam Cole in a wheelchair came to the ring to accompany Wardlow for his match against Komander.

While the match was squarely in Wardlow’s favor, before he secured the victory it appeared he perhaps suffered an injury.

With his knee appearing to buckle during a powerbomb, the commentary team reiterated concern for Wardlow’s knee as he began limping thereafter.

Appearing to favor his knee throughout the finish of the match and afterward, he was out of the ring for the post-match angle.

After AEW Dynamite went off the air, Wardlow commented on the precarious looking ending to the match and noted that perhaps a mere mortal would be injured but not him!

Wardlow wrote on Twitter:

“A normal man’s knee would be ruined. I’m no normal man. I’m still coming for the heavyweight title. And there’s nothing and no one that can stop me. Knee is just fine 🐺 #AEWDynamite”

Excellent news from Wardlow who is obviously still in the hunt for the AEW World Championship!
