An AEW star is set to make their debut for an independent promotion.
One of the bigger benefits of signing with All Elite Wrestling has always been that the talent are able to also work for independent promotions on their day offs.
Despite signing with AEW in 2021, Andrade El Idolo has rarely made appearances for promotions outside of Tony Khan’s company.
The former WWE United States Champion has worked in AAA and is currently scheduled for the upcoming WrestleCade convention next weekend, but he will now be making his way to a top independent promotion.
On November 12, Game Changer Wrestling announced that AEW’s Andrade El Idolo will be making his debut for the company on December 9 in Los Angeles, California.
El Idolo will then also work the GCW events on January 12 in Chicago and on January 26 in Tampa.
Andrade El Idolo last wrestled in a win over Daniel Garcia on the November 11 episode of AEW Collision. Before the match, Andrade revealed that he is the first client of CJ Perry.
