A new report has revealed top star and former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho who is set to miss “at least a couple of weeks.”
On the February 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Chris Jericho with the legend’s own Walls of Jericho finisher.
This has led some fans to wonder and speculate what is next for the former AEW World Champion.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Chris Jericho is slated to be off AEW television for at least a couple of weeks.
The reason for his absence is due to Jericho heading overseas for a tour with his band, Fozzy.
It remains to be seen when Jericho will make his return to AEW programming at the time of this writing.
Meanwhile, Konosuke Takeshita is set to face Will Ospreay in a battle of Don Callis Family members on March 3 at AEW Revolution.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Chris Jericho’s absence and return when they become available.
