Popular AEW Star Explains Mindset On Helping Others & Giving Advice AEW

Popular AEW star and ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston has explained his mindset on helping others and giving advice.

Eddie Kingston has seen the most success of his career in 2023, winning the Ring of Honor World Championship and NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship.

Kingston is also a veteran of the business and has always been open about his struggles in making it to national television. The connection that “The Mad King” has with the fans is simply undeniable and is someone who many wrestlers have learned from.

Speaking on Gabby AF, Eddie Kingston was asked if any AEW wrestlers do ask him for advice or if he gives anyone advice. He answered:

“No. I tell them to get away from me. They won’t listen, so I don’t even try. No, that was a joke. In a way. In a way, that was a joke.”

“There is only certain people that I help. I’m very picky and choosy with my time and energy.”

“People have known me to watch a match and then they’ll come and be like, ‘How was it?’ ‘Oh, I didn’t watch.’ They’ll be like, ‘Eddie, we know you watched.’ ‘Nah.'”

“I know the people and I know they’re just asking me for appearances. ‘Oh look, someone asked for advice.'”

“Then they’re not going to take it and still do whatever the fuck they want. Okay, cool. I know who is who, and I’m picky with who I help. Am I going to tell you who I help? No,”

Kingston is set to face Jon Moxley in the AEW Continental Classic Finals this Saturday, December 30 at AEW Worlds End.
