AEW
An AEW star has filed for a trademark declaring himself a very lofty distinction when considering some of the rest of the roster!
While there are plenty of violent gents (and ladies!) in AEW, one has now filed a trademark to make it official that he stands out above the rest.
Filing for the trademark on the phrase ‘#1 in Violence’, the House of Black’s Brody King will soon be able to legally make that bold claim.
The trademark is filed for the following description according to PWInsider:
“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
Solid catchphrase to trademark, especially since King is also one member of a highly violent stable.
House of Black seems to be continuing to haunt the Acclaimed as they featured in a vignette on AEW Collision where they destroyed the seemingly ‘retired’ Daddy Ass Billy Gunn’s ring boots.
After having left them in the ring after a loss to the House of Black, in an apparent gesture of retirement, the Acclaimed continued to carry the boots around as if holding out hope for a return.
However, the frightening faction were able to capture the boots from the Acclaimed and in the vignette, Julia Hart crushed them in a trash compactor.
