AEW Star Explains What Will Ospreay Means To The Competition Level In The Company

AEW and ROH star Lee Moriarty has explained what Will Ospreay means to the competition level in the company.

At AEW Full Gear 2023, Will Ospreay was revealed as the company’s new blockbuster signing.

Ospreay has made a name for himself as one of the best wrestlers in the world with a litany of classic bouts in New Japan Pro Wrestling and across various different promotions.

Ospreay’s NJPW contract expires in February, but the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and All Elite Wrestling were able to agree to a deal with Ospreay set to start in 2024.

Speaking with Wrestle Inn’s Ciaran, AEW and ROH star Lee Moriarty was asked to share his thoughts on the arrival of Will Ospreay in the promotion. He answered:

“I think Ospreay is one of the best wrestlers in the world and 2023 was arguably his year as the overall best.”

“Him coming into AEW means the competition level has been raised again. He’s going to have a lot of first-time matches that will be cool to witness,”
