AEW star Roderick Strong has lost his first match since having ‘miraculously’ ditched his wheelchair on last week’s episode of Dynamite.
To kick off tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe took to the ring and the microphone to call out Hangman Adam Page.
After Joe alleged his belief that Hangman was responsible for the attack on MJF backstage at last week’s Dynamite, Page himself appeared.
However, there wasn’t a great deal of time of argue (although for the record, Hangman did deny being ‘the Devil’ under the mask) because the pair were interrupted by Roderick Strong.
Roderick Strong, who last week abandoned his wheelchair and was now walking on his own as he confronted Samoa Joe and even Page.
The pair would go on to have a match in which Hangman Adam Page would ultimately stand tall with a victory over Roderick Strong.
Page would handily stand up to attempted interference from The Kingdom as you can see in the clip below.
Elsewhere on tonight’s Dynamite, four different Continental Classic match-ups and Ruby Soho takes on the recently returned Riho.
In the first of those tournament matches, Andrade El Idolo picked up a win over Brody King.
