An absent AEW star has been spotted with a new look after having been off of television for eight months due to injury.

Eddie Kingston has not been seen in AEW in eight months but has now been spotted in an upcoming workout video with a known former AEW wrestler and trainer.

Posted on Instagram by Cezar Bononi, a series of snaps teasing an upcoming workout video with none other than Kingston himself.

You can see photos of Eddie’s new look below, with The Mad King now sporting hair and a much fuller beard.

Kingston suffered a legitimate leg injury during a Last Man Standing match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence on May 11, 2024, whereby he also lost the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.

It was later confirmed that Kingston had suffered a tibular fracture as well as a torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee, with The Mad King undergoing surgery in July 2024.

The most recent update on Kingston’s recovery noted that the inaugural Continental Classic winner was “furiously pushing himself” through physical therapy, however, it was stated that he likely wouldn’t be cleared until June this year.

We will provide updates on Kingston’s injury recovery and AEW return as they become available.
