Adam Copeland made his AEW debut at the end of the first-ever WrestleDream pay-per-view event earlier this month, when he confronted best friend Christian Cage.
While Christian and Copeland are seemingly still a long way away from reuniting, the belief is that they will eventually reunite, and take part in many tag team dream matches.
One match many fans are hoping to see is Edge and Christian reuniting for one last match against the Hardys, but Matt Hardy has a slightly different idea.
Speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt said that he would one day love to see he, Jeff, Christian and Copeland all together as heels.
He said:
“Honestly, I would love to see, at some point, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Matt and Jeff Hardy all as heels. I would like to see that. I think there is something there that could work for AEW.”
Matt and Jeff Hardy are set for action on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show, when they team with Brother Zay Isiah Kassidy to face Hangman Adam Page and the Young Bucks for the ROH Six-Man Championship.
