AEW Star Rushes From Arena After Frightening Home Invasion AEW

As part of a storyline, an AEW star rushed from the arena during Dynamite after a frightening invasion was shown on screen at his home.

After the Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page successfully defended their ROH Trios titles in a match against Matt and Jeff Hardy with Brother Zay, a surprise appeared on-screen.

Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland appeared on screen and seemed to be at Hangman Adam Page’s house.

A clearly concerned Page ran from the ring as commentary would later confirm that he immediately rushed from the arena.

In the segment, Swerve Strickland was on ultimate villain mode, strolling through Page’s house, calling the decor tacky and tearing up art clearly made by children from the fridge.

When Swerve heard a noise he ended up following it and found a baby’s room where he lurked over a crib and gave an ominous warning to Hangman Adam Page.

He promised to leave his child in safety but with the knowledge that it was only his own benevolence that protected the youngster, nothing to do with the Father.

Swerve left behind a Prince Nana dancing t-shirt for the youngest Page as a memento of the occasion before Nana appeared, telling Strickland that they needed to leave.

Excellent heel character work by Swerve Strickland continues on an otherwise packed edition of AEW Dynamite.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, it was a big show already for another big character: AEW World Champion MJF.

Friedman bested Juice Robinson to keep the Dynamite Diamond Ring for another year, accepted a second match at Full Gear and a first-ever match against Kenny Omega.
