AEW star and ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion Brian Cage has now provided an update on the injury he suffered on a recent edition of Dynamite.
On the January 3 episode, Cage faced off against Bryan Keith, El Hijo Del Vikingo and Trent Beretta in a fourway bout.
Cage took to social media following the match to show off bruising under his arm, stating that he got a ‘boo-boo’ during the show.
The Machine stated in this post that he didn’t plan on missing any action, ahead of his eight-man tag-team match at Dynamite Homecoming on January 10.
Cage has now taken to Instagram to share photos of his bruising, stating that he was working through a torn latissimus muscle injury.
Brian Cage captioned his Instagram post:
Got my s**t in, did my version of OC ✋ in the pocket, or the ‘Al Bundy Suplex’ and did it all with a torn lat. Who’s a machine?????? This guy ☝️

When asked by a fan if he has also torn his tricep, Cage replied in a comment:
bleeding down. Might have had small tear there since lat attached through there
Cage also shared the photos of his bruises on Twitter, which you can view below.
On Wednesday’s Dynamite Homecoming show, Cage teamed with Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun and Lance Archer in a losing effort against Adam Copeland, Dustin Rhodes, Orange Cassidy & Preston Vance.
We continue to wish Cage a safe and healthy recovery.
