AEW Star Discusses Younger Wrestlers ‘Not Taking Advice’ From Veterans AEW

An AEW star has discussed younger wrestlers in the company ‘not taking advice’ from veterans in the locker room.

Ever since the CM Punk All Out 2022 press conference, where he called out Hangman Adam Page and the Elite, the topic of wrestlers ‘not taking advice’ in AEW has been a talking point among fans.

Specifically, the belief that the veterans in the locker room believe that nobody on the AEW roster listens to them or comes to them for advice.

Taking to Twitter today, one of those veterans in the locker room, Taz, discussed the idea of Page ‘not taking advice’ from veterans in the locker room.

He wrote:

One more thing, just because a current wrestler might not approach a veteran/legendary wrestler does not mean that wrestler is disrespectful, it doesn’t mean that that wrestler doesn’t want to get better. It could be that they are intimidated, or they want to show that they can stand on their own 2 feet. That was me when I was younger.

When another fan brought up Hangman’s comments about not taking advice, Taz responded.

He said:

OK and that’s hangman’s choice! He’s a grown ass man with a successful career… And if he chooses not to seek/take advice from those who came before him, that is his choice! He is more than entitled to that. Doesn’t mean you or I have to agree with it… and it also doesn’t mean he’s wrong….it’s his choice.

Page has not appeared on AEW television since Full Gear, where he lost to Swerve Strickland in the incredible Texas Deathmatch.
