An AEW tag team has reunited on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (August 30) and already stated a lofty goal.
The pair plans on going after the AEW World Tag Team Championship!
There was a bit of dissension following Chris Jericho’s match at AEW All In where he lost to Will Ospreay, as Jericho shoved Sammy Guevara.
With Jericho summoning Guevara to the ring on AEW Dynamite tonight, he went on to apologize for getting sassy with Sammy after the match… well almost.
When Jericho threw out the possibility that perhaps he could have won had Sammy hit Ospreay “harder” with the bat during his interference, Guevara clapped back.
After a short but terse exchange, Jericho pitched Guevara on his ultimate idea for the duo: reunite their tag team Le Sex Gods and chase the AEW Tag Team Title.
Sammy ultimately agreed and things ended united between the pair… for now.
Speaking of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR, they’ll be teaming with the Young Bucks in an eight-man tag team match at All Out against the Gunns, Jay White and Juice Robinson.
