AEW Tag Team Trolls Jim Cornette With New Team Name

A tag team in AEW may have pulled the ultimate troll job on Jim Cornette after revealing their apparent new tag team name on social media.

It’s important to note that due the names involved – one of the specifically – this might not be completely legitimate, but it’s an attempt to troll Cornette all the same.

Joey Janela took to Twitter, writing:

It’s great Me and @SonnyKissXO got permission to go under the new new Midnight Express….

He then shared the following graphic:

For those unaware, the Midnight Express is the name of the tag team that Cornette managed consisting of Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey in the 1980s and he regards them as one of the best teams of all time.

What remains to be seen is whether Janela & Kiss actually have been given permission to use the name by AEW officials, or if Janela’s just playing around, which as I mentioned earlier is fairly likely.
