Another AEW Vs. WWE Upcoming Head-To-Head Seemingly Confirmed WWE/AEW

AEW and WWE may be going head-to-head on television in November with an episode of AEW Collision and WWE SmackDown airing at the same time.

Details are somewhat thin on the ground at the moment, with no official statement, but it looks like it could be a battle for ratings supremacy on November 17.

With AEW Full Gear taking place on Saturday November 18, Collision is reportedly going to take place the night before.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, plans are neither finalised nor official, with Meltzer saying:

“Most likely. It’s not ‘official’ official, but, they’re taping Collision on Friday night, and it’s right now scheduled, tentatively, 8-10 Friday night for Collision, and then 10-11, which would be Rampage, because they’re doing the pay-per-view on Saturday that week.

“Both of them are supposed to be live, but it’s not official.

“I was told that it’s likely that’s what it’s going to be, but until it’s official, it’s just likely. But that is the plan as of this moment.”

WWE SmackDown airs live on FOX in primetime at 8pm ET, meaning that AEW Collision for November 17 would be airing directly opposite it on TNT.

AEW has moved what would have been the Wednesday, October 11 episode of Dynamite to the Tuesday evening due to the Major League Baseball’s playoffs, meaning it’ll go head-to-head with NXT that night.

The October change has been a historical move for AEW due to the baseball schedule on TBS.
