Afa Anoa’i Of The Wild Samoans Recovering From Two Heart Attacks & Pneumonia WWE

An update has emerged on wrestling legend Afa of the Wild Samoans, who was recently hospitalised after suffering a number of health complications.

Afa Anoa’i’s daughter Vale previously took to Facebook to note that Afa has been experiencing ‘health complications’ in hospital.

A new update post had been shared on Facebook, stating that Afa was first hospitalised due to pneumonia, but has since had two small heart attacks.

It was noted that Afa is doing okay but isn’t out of the woods following his heart catheterization.

The post read:

Update on Afa the Wild Samoan, affectionately known as Pops: Afa was admitted to the hospital last night with pneumonia, but had a mild heart attack upon arrival. Today, he had a second small heart attack and was sent for a heart catheterization.

He is doing ok, his spirits are high. He isn’t out of the woods yet, but will be kept in the hospital for a day or two for observation and monitoring.

He thanks everyone for their concern, continued love, and prayers.

Afa, full name Afa Amituana’i ‘Arthur’ Anoa’i, wrestled as one half of the Wild Samoans alongside his brother Sika.

The uncle of Roman Reigns, Afa notably made an appearance alongside Sika at Hell in a Cell 2020 to gift Reigns the Tribal Chief lei, or Ula Fala.

We wish Afa a safe and healthy recovery.
