There has been another round of Bret Hart references tonight (March 16) both on and after AEW Dynamite, begging the question: could we really see Bret Hart appearing for AEW?
After firing Tully Blanchard as their mentor last week, FTR had already teased a Bret Hart appearance after last week’s episode however on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, FTR were cutting a promo backstage when the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, approached.
With a heavy emphasis on the word best, the Bucks advised FTR it didn’t matter if they got the best manager in the world, they still would be second fiddle to the Bucks.
After Dynamite, Dax Harwood again took to Twitter to share his admiration for the Hart family legend, writing:
“God, family, professional wrestling… and Bret.”
As previously reported, All Elite Wrestling is set to host the inaugural Owen Hart Foundation Men’s and Women’s Tournaments in coming months with both the men’s and women’s brackets are set to kick off on May 11, during the Dynamite and Rampage tapings at the UBS Arena.
Tony Khan has previously announced that Dr. Martha Hart will be present to crown the inaugural champions of the tournaments at All or Nothing later that month.
God, family, professional wrestling….and Bret.

After #FTR fired @TullyBFTR last week, @youngbucks are convinced @CashWheelerFTR & @DaxFTR will only ever be "The Second Best Tag Team in #AEW".
