AJ Styles Challenges Randy Orton To WrestleMania Match

After weeks of hostility, AJ Styles formally challenged Randy Orton to a match at WrestleMania 35, which the former WWE Champion neither declined nor accepted.

The confrontation began with Orton would also listing his accomplishments, stating how he has won WrestleMania main events while Styles was wrestling in bingo halls. Orton would even mention Dixie Carter in a funny moment for the more hardcore wrestling fans.

WWE have been reportedly trying to make their feuds feel more real, and this was another example of that, with Styles stating that Orton has relied on people his whole career. Styles said that Orton got into the business because of his father, and relied on the likes of Triple H and Evolution to help him kick-start his career.

Orton would say that Styles and his ‘indie pals’ stole the ‘too sweet’ gesture, and Styles responded by mocking Orton’s signature pose and claiming that the RKO was simply a knock-off Diamond Cutter.

Orton would claim that this was the house he built, and AJ Styles owed him rent. Styles would then point to the WrestleMania sign, telling Orton to take it from him before challenging the third-generation superstar to a clash at the show of shows.

With just three weeks left until the big event, AJ Styles and Randy Orton, although not confirmed, look set to do battle in a what has the potential to be a classic.
