Former AEW star Allie (The Bunny) has announced that she has officially signed with TNA Wrestling after recently making her return.
Allie made her return to TNA television back in March, where she appeared in a vignette with former tag team partner Rosemary in the Undead Realm.
Allie had previously reigned as a two-time TNA Knockouts Champion, though she never captured the Knockouts Tag Team Championship during her time in the company, which could change at the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view event, where her and Rosemary will challenge the Elegance Brand for the titles.
TNA Confirms Allie’s Signing
Today, Allie announced in an interview with Rewind Recap Relive that she has now officially signed with TNA Wrestling.
TNA confirmed Allie’s signing on social media, writing the following:
TNA Wrestling confirmed today that Allie has officially signed with the company, as first reported by the Rewind Recap Relive podcast.
A Canada native, Allie is a two-time former TNA Knockouts World Champion, with title reigns in 2016 and 2018.
Allie and Rosemary form TNA’s lovely and lethal tag team DemonXBunny – and they will be challenging The Elegance Brand for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships on Sunday, June 28, at Slammiversary, live on pay-per-view from the Agganis Arena in Boston.
More New Signings Coming To TNA Soon?
With TNA Slammiversary coming up, and a number of recent major departures from the company, we may be set to see some more new faces officially sign with TNA in the coming weeks.
The Knockouts division itself is now without Dani Luna, Myla Grace and Tessa Blanchard after all three requested and were granted their release from the company, so we could see some new women’s stars arrive in the company soon.
The non-compete clauses of recently released WWE stars is set to expire next month, with names such as the Wyatt Sicks, Apollo Crews, Aleister Black and Zelina Vega potentially names we could see join TNA.
Additionally, with the recent behind the scenes changes, now could be the perfect time for the company to invest in fresher faces off the independent scene who can be built to carry the company through a rather confusing period.
