Details On Backstage Changes With New WWE Management Team WWE

More details have emerged on backstage changes within WWE, under the regime of the new management team.

Following Vince McMahon’s retirement in late July, Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon were named co-CEOs, and Triple H took over creative, in addition to his EVP of Talent Relations role. Triple H has since been ‘elevated’ to Chief Content Officer.

PWInsider has now shared a breakdown of the changes based on the word of a number of sources in different areas of the company.

Per PWInsider, the new management team has ‘energized’ the WWE locker room and production team. It was also noted that staff working at WWE Headquarters also have better energy, but because the balance of employees’ work responsibilities vs life outside of WWE has been better under Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon.

It was noted that under Vince McMahon, there was a sentiment of ‘keep your head down’, as if Vince was going to work insane hours, staff wanting to climb the corporate ladder felt they had to follow suit.

It is believed that under Nick Khan, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H that employees can do their job without the ‘level of stress’ that used to exist, and can leave the office at a reasonable hour.

The report noted that employees generally feel that the current management team is approachable, with one staffer comparing crossing paths with Vince McMahon with “running into the T-Rex from Jurassic Park, you didn’t want to call attention to yourself.”

Staff within the creative team are reportedly no longer ‘hurrying up to wait’ for Vince McMahon meetings, or amending ‘unimportant things’. Creative meetings are reportedly more streamlined nowadays, and the team can focus more on creative pitches, and longer-form ideas.

Two WWE premium live events have now taken place under the Triple H regime in SummerSlam on July 30, and Clash At The Castle on September 3.
