Backstage news has emerged on Cody Rhodes’ status for tonight’s episode of WWE WrestleMania Raw.
It has been reported that everything is now in place for Rhodes’ return to WWE TV, ahead of a potential Raw appearance.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Rhodes was not internally listed to appear on Raw as of Sunday (March 27) night.
The report also noted that as of ‘late last week’, Rhodes was scheduled to fly to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky on Monday, which would be an almost five hour drive from Pittsburgh, where tonight’s show takes place.
It was noted that Cody Rhodes teases are set to continue on tonight’s show whether the former AEW EVP is in the building or not. Rhodes is also slated to appear on next Monday’s episode of Raw, following WrestleMania 38.
Previous reports had stated that Rhodes is internally scheduled to face Seth Rollins during WrestleMania Sunday, on April 3.
