Big Cody Rhodes Plans For Tonight’s WWE Raw

Big Cody Rhodes Plans For Tonight’s WWE Raw AEW

It’s former AEW TNT Champion Cody Rhodes in the WWE zone.

Yes, unless the earth is absorbed by a black hole (not ruling it out), it seems as though Cody Rhodes will be making his return to WWE at some point in the next week.

While the general belief is that his return will be at this weekend’s two-night WrestleMania show, it seems WWE wanted to be prepared in advance, and has everything ready for his return. Long-term planning in WWE?

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted everything is now in place for Cody to come back, including graphics, and potential segments have been produced, all of which could well appear on tonight’s Raw.

Meltzer said:

“There are graphics made and things like that. I don’t know the extent of it but it’s like… there’s stuff being produced, has already been produced, for the show to build to whatever it is with Cody or however that all turns out. But yeah, so (tonight), I don’t know how they announce it but that’s one of the focal points, if not the focal point of the show (tonight’s Raw).

“Within the company, this was a week ago so things always change, but a week ago, the talk definitely was that Cody doesn’t show up till WrestleMania.”

The plan, unless things have changed, is for Cody Rhodes to have a match, or at the very least a segment, with Seth Rollins this weekend, which will be the pay-off to Seth’s “give me my WrestleMania spot” gimmick.
