WWE Star ‘Fighting’ For Popular Band To Perform Live Entrance At WrestleMania 40 WWE

Bayley is upping her game when it comes to Paramore at WrestleMania 40, having been granted ‘permission’ to use one of their tracks.

Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams gave Bayley verbal permission to use the track Simmer at the April 6 & 7 Premium Live Event.

For those not familiar with the track, you can see the official music video below this news story.

Permission to use the track isn’t the end of the story for Bayley, however, as she wants Paramore to perform the track at WrestleMania 40.

During an appearance on Xfinity Hangouts, Bayley revealed the next step of her plan, saying:

“Honestly, yeah, because I am going to fight for it. I’ve already brought it up. I just don’t know what their schedule is like these days. It feels like they’re taking time off, but they just put out a new video, so maybe not.

“I would love for them to play ‘Simmer.’ During the pandemic, Hayley’s solo album came out, and I was listening to that all the time. ‘Simmer’ would pump me up.

“Let’s do some ‘Simmer’ into my theme. I don’t know, I don’t care, you can play anything you want, I’ll come out to it.

“I’m really trying. Keep petitioning and tweeting about it.”

A long-time fan of the band, she has previously got behind the #ParamoreForMania hashtag on Twitter.

Bayley will be facing IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40 following the implosion of Damage CTRL.

The Paramore YouTube channel has been busy recently, with Thick Skull getting a music video on March 1, along with Sanity on February 15 and a behind-the-scenes video for Burning Down the House along with a lyrics visualizer on February 2 and January 31 respectively.

Thick Skull and Sanity are both from Paramore’s album This Is Why, which was released on October 6, 2023.
