Bayley Makes Unfortunate Announcement Before WWE WrestleMania 40

Bayley has made an unfortunate announcement ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, PA.

With Bayley set to compete in one WrestleMania 40 weekend’s marquee world title bouts, the Role Model hoped to mark the special occasion with an extra special entrance.

In a movement fuelled by the hashtag #ParamoreForMania, fans have been hoping to see self-professed mega fan of the Rock group Paramore Bayley, secure the band to perform a special entrance for her ahead of her WWE Women’s Title match with IYO SKY.

Bayley specifically wanted to use Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams to perform her 2020 track Simmer, even asking Williams directly whether she could use the track.

Although Williams gave Bayley permission to use the song, it seems like all hope securing the band to perform it live are gone unfortunately, as revealed by Bayley in a post on Twitter.

While she couldn’t get Paramore to perform live, she did however, manage to use the song for the official hype video for her bout with SKY at WrestleMania.

Bayley tweeted:

Dear loyal sheep,

I did everything in my power to get my dream Wrestlemania entrance. But due to scheduling, it isn’t in the stars this year.
