Becky Lynch has shared her first comments after losing the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy.

At WWE Clash in Italy, Becky Lynch saw her third Women’s Intercontinental Championship come to an end at the hands of Sol Ruca.

While Lynch may have earlier said that Ruca was “not ready” to face, having seen a number of losses since joining the main roster, the young star was up to the challenge at Clash in Italy.

Lynch has, however, identified the likely causes behind her latest WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship loss, suggesting that legal action may be ahead, along with suggesting an injury may have occurred, tweeting:

“Last night I was once again ROBBED of my title by CROOKED CARR!!!

“CLEARLY I had SO SAD SOL pinned for MORE than the count of three when Carr INEXPLICABLY DOVE out of the ring!!!! A TOTAL MESS!!!

“I soldiered on but suffered a severe hematoma (my lawyers are looking into ROTTEN RUCA’s footwear. They suspect they’re not regulatory!) Doctors say they’re SHOCKED I was able to continue, but I told them YOU CANT HOLD DOWN THE MAN!!!!”

The match saw Lynch attempt to draw Carr into proceedings, leading to the aforementioned moment where the referee was sent outside of the ring, among other such moments.

Becky Lynch At Her Bellicose Best

“It’s not just me saying it”, has become as much of a catchphrase for Becky Lynch as calling herself “The Man” or referencing her “hot husband”, and with good reason.

Lynch has found a perfect outlet for her talents, highlighting the fact that it is everybody else that is responsible for what happens to her in any given situation, while maintaining her belief that she is the hero of the story.

It’s seen clearly through her tweets which emulate a style that may be familiar to anyone even vaguely aware of a particular world leader’s social media postings, filled with aggression, arguments and a desire to fight anyone and everyone, because everyone is to blame.

Alongside the authority figure that is referee Jessika Carr, Adam Pearce, as the general manager of WWE Raw, has long been a target for Lynch, dealing with the star on screen and on social media, finding a way to troll the now former champion on an occasional basis. Then there’s every opponent of Lynch, all of whom have earned themselves a nickname and derision.

There’s something to be said about having an irate Lynch chase after a championship, particularly after losing it, allowing her to continue to be outspoken, demanding and convinced that she is the one who is being punished through no fault of her own.

For Lynch, though, beyond the WWE star that she has been since 2013, the star has shared advice to independent women wrestlers, advising them to take international bookings as “America’s not the be all and end all”.
