Beth Phoenix WWE Return Match Revealed?

A few days ago, PWInsider reported the plan was for Beth Phoenix to be a part of Edge’s after he made his return at SummerSlam to attack Judgment Day.

On last night’s (August 1) episode of WWE Raw, Edge returned again, and promised to take down Judgment Day, killing the thing he created in the process.

The problem with this is that Edge is a man, and Rhea Ripley of Judgment Day is a woman, and therefore presumably he can’t lay hands on her in WWE. But do you know who is a woman? Lots of people. But also, Beth Phoenix.

Just after Raw went off air following Edge attacking Judgment Day but accidentally spearing Dominik Mysterio, Beth tweeted the classic eyes emoji, which in my experience, usually means she’s returning to take on Rhea Ripley as part of a wider storyline involving Edge, Judgment Day and the Mysterios.

Whether this will be a one-on-one match for Beth and Rhea, or a mixed tag match like all three members of Judgment Day vs Edge, Beth and Rey, we’ll have to find out.

Phoenix’s last match was at Royal Rumble 2022, where she and Edge defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match.
