Ahead of PROGRESS Chapters 132 & 133, Big Damo (fka Killian Dain) spoke exclusively with Sanchez Taylor for WrestleTalk.com about his future career plans, and what he is still yet to do.
Damo stated his number one career goal, which is to compete in the G1 Climax tournament for New Japan Pro Wrestling, which he claims almost happened before he signed with WWE.
He said:
For me, theres a bunch I want to do. First and foremost, I want to get to the G1 in Japan. Thats been a long-term goal of mine. Ive been a fan of Japanese wrestling since the late 90s. I find myself every now and again, if I’m just going down the rabbit hole on YouTube, maybe spending 2-3 hours, and I’m going back and watching All Japan, New Japan, NOAH. For me, I think that’s the number one goal.
That’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I was very close at one point, but WWE swooped in and took me across the pond, so I’d like to rectify that at some point.

Damo has wrestled a few matches on the NJPW Strong shows since his WWE release last year, with his most recent match for the promotion being a loss to Tomohiro Ishii.
Damo is set to be a part of the upcoming PROGRESS Wrestling Atlus Championship tournament, and has vowed to defend the title all over the globe if he wins.
