WWE star Big E has confirmed that he is now back home, after suffering a neck injury on last week’s edition of SmackDown.
Big E revealed that he had left the UAB Hospital in Birmingham to return to Tampa, replying to Andre Smith on Twitter:
Appreciate you, man. I’m actually home now but Birmingham took good care of me.
Big E has confirmed that he suffered a broken neck on the March 11 show, following an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland at ringside.
In an update, the former WWE Champion revealed that his C1 and C6 vertebrae had been fractured, noting that he has no vertebrae displacement, no spinal cord damage, no ligament damage, and doesn’t expect to undergo surgery.
Despite these promising updates, a doctor has suggested that Big E’s injury could potentially be career-ending.
We continue to send our best wishes to Big E and wish him a full and complete recovery
