There is going to be a special episode of 205 Live next week on the WWE Network, celebrating the 205th episode of the show. As such, they have announced a big match will be taking place for the purple brand next week.
It has been announced that next week will see a fatal five-way match take place, with the winner going on to face Santos Escobar for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship at a later date.
At the time of writing, the five men who are going to be part of the big match next week have not yet been revealed, but the following wrestlers were spotted in the promotional graphic to hype up the match:
- Sunil Singh
- Samir Singh
- Ashante “The” Adonis
- August Grey (formerly Anthony Greene)
- Ariya Daivari
- Tony Nese
- Brian Kendrick
- Curt Stallion
- Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
- Chase Parker
- Matt Martel
At this time, the date for the eventual match with Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar has not yet been confirmed. It’s unclear whether the match will be taking place on 205 Live or an episode of NXT.
