Big Title Change At AEW Full Gear 2023 AEW

There was a big title change at AEW Full Gear 2023 as Timeless Toni Storm made her return to Hollywood and became champion again.

Toni Storm has become the second three-time AEW Women’s World Champion in the history of the company.

Shida picked up the win against Hikaru Shida, also a three-time champion, after some assistance at ringside from Luther.

When commentary mentioned that someone should give Storm her flowers, Mariah May came out to deliver Storm a bouquet and cheer on her idol who celebrated her win.

Elsewhere on the AEW pay-per-view Full Gear 2023, there have been big developments on the road to the AEW World Championship in the men’s division.

With MJF taken out of action by an attack by the Gunns after the ROH Tag Team title match on Zero Hour, it was announced that he would not be able to compete due to being “injured”.

However, instead of simply moving the title moving to Jay White, MJF’s bestie Adam Cole interrupted.

Adam Cole said that if MJF couldn’t defend the World Championship tonight then he would defend it for him, “one leg or not”.

It’s unclear if the main event is actually going to be Jay White vs Adam Cole instead of MJF, but that’s what’s been announced and we’ll keep you posted.
