Brock Lesnar Update After Fans Speculate Possible Retirement

Brock Lesnar Update After Fans Speculate Possible Retirement WWE

An update has emerged on Brock Lesnar, following speculation that he’s stepping away from the ring following WWE SummerSlam.

In the main event of the July 30 premium live event, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in a last man standing bout to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

After the cameras stopped rolling, Lesnar returned to the ring and tipped his hat to the crowd.

While many thought that The Beast was indicating that he was about to hang up his boots for good, Lesnar has been prominently featured on advertising for the next WWE Day 1 event, slated for January 1, 2023.

At the 2022 WWE Day 1 show, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship in a fiveway bout. The star was originally slated to challenge for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship, but Reigns was pulled from the event due to COVID-19 protocols.

Lesnar went on to lose the title to Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble, before winning it back at Elimination Chamber, then losing to Roman Reigns in a Winner Takes All title unification bout at WrestleMania 38.

It is worth remembering WWE’s famous line ‘card subject to change’.

Lesnar has wrestled in six televised WWE matches this year, with his Elimination Chamber win currently his most recent on screen victory.
