Bryan Danielson Has Idea For Fan Chant At AEW WrestleDream 2023

Bryan Danielson Has Idea For Fan Chant At AEW WrestleDream 2023 AEW

Bryan Danielson has named a hilarious chant for the crowd to start at AEW WrestleDream 2023 in Seattle, Washington for his son, Buddy.

When appearing on local morning radio show BJ and Migs, Danielson told an adorable story about each time he goes on the road, noticing differences in his children when he returns.

Notably, one recent favorite new word of Buddy Danielson… that is highly inappropriate.

Danielson said of his son’s recent foray into four letter words and also how his wife (WWE Hall of Famer Brie Garcia) actually put a clever end to the issue.

Danielson said:

“He [Danielson’s son Buddy] said the F word [laughs]. He said ‘fridge’ multiple times, and I immediately blamed my wife, as a good husband should.

“Apparently, he learned it from two kids at school. When he said it, my wife’s reaction was ‘Buddy, you cannot say that.’ Then, of course, he’s just going to say it more and more.

“I’m on either FaceTime or on the phone in the car with Bluetooth, so when my wife is calling me and he’s in the car, and she’s telling me that he keeps saying this word, I’m laughing hysterically, he hears that. It reinforces, ‘Yeah, I should say this thing.’

“You know what my wife did that was very smart? ‘No, Buddy, you’re saying it wrong. It’s fox.’ He goes, ‘Fox?’ He started going, ‘Fox. Fox. Fox. Fox. Fox.’ It was brilliant. It was a genius move,”

“At first she reacted heavy, ‘No, you can’t say that.’ Then she stopped reacting to it whatsoever and it was, ‘Buddy, you’re saying it wrong, it’s fox.’ ‘Fox?’ ‘Yeah, fox.’

“Now, he’s saying fox. Our daughter, she loves foxes, but she couldn’t say fox. She was trying to say fox, but would say the other word. At least that’s what it sounded like.”

When one of the co-hosts suggested that Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena could start a ‘Fox!’ chant for Buddy, Danielson responded:

“My son would love it.”

Well now it must be done for Buddy Danielson! AEW WrestleDream is set for Sunday, October 1 2023 from Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.

Already announced, a series of big matchups including appearances from some of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s biggest stars.

Zack Sabre Jr. will take on Bryan Danielson, FTR defends their AEW Tag Team Championship against Aussie Open, and Eddie Kingston will defend both the ROH World Championship and the NJPW Openweight Championship against Katsuyori Shibata.

Of course, there have rumors abound about a potential meaning of the ‘new era’ comments, including wondering if a sunrise debut in Seattle may be in store.

One name fan are most excited about is the prospect of Adam Copeland (formerly known as Edge in WWE) making a surprise appearance as his contract is reportedly set to expire with WWE prior to the event, although there’s no word yet on whether he’s decided to go to AEW, stay with WWE, or something else entirely.
