A championship match has been announced for this week’s (October 14) episode of AEW Collision.
In recent weeks, Samoa Joe has been appearing in vignettes, where he has continued to take aim at becoming World Champion, while remaining the ‘King of Television’.
Joe still reigns as the ROH Television Champion, and his next defence is set for this week’s Collision.
Tony Khan took to Twitter today, announcing that Joe will defend the ROH Television Championship against Willie Mack.
Also set for the show is Bryan Danielson challenging Christian Cage for the TNT Championship following Danielson’s victory over Swerve Strickland on this week’s Dynamite.
This week’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday went head to head with WWE NXT, and featured two championship changes, with Hikaru Shida capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship from Saraya, and Orange Cassidy regaining the AEW International Championship from Rey Fenix.
The ratings for this week’s head to head between Dynamite and NXT have been revealed, which you can see here.
