An update has been provided on a potential change to an upcoming WWE premium live event.
As previously reported, there have been internal discussions within WWE about the placement of NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania 40 week in Philadelphia next April.
The report noted that there have been talks about moving the event from the Saturday before WrestleMania Night 1 to a weekday.
However, WWE announced the schedule for WrestleMania 40 weekend earlier today with NXT Stand & Deliver set for Saturday, April 6.
It remains to be seen if WWE could potentially announce a change to the day of the show last minute.
WWE also announced Friday Night SmackDown and the Monday Night Raw after Mania as well as NXT Stand & Deliver will all take place from the Wells Fargo Center.
The company also recently announced that WWE NXT is set to move to The CW Network after reaching a five-year deal to start in October 2024. For more details on the CW move, including plans for the day on which NXT will air on the new network, click here.
