Ronda Rousey captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte Flair in an I Quit match on tonight’s WrestleMania Backlash show.
WWE announced that Flair had suffered a ‘fracture of the radius’ on the show following the match, and we now know why.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that WWE creative was told that Charlotte would be taking some time off, and a kayfabe injury angle was set up for the show.
Fightful was not told if the absence is to start immediately, or how long it’s supposed to last.
